Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Salah Stars application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Salah Stars is a family-oriented Islamic prayer tracking application that allows users to track daily prayers, earn experience points (XP), build streaks, and participate in family leaderboards. The App is provided free of charge.
Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account
- Accounts are intended for family use — a parent or guardian creates and manages the account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of prayer tracking and family engagement. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
Family Members & Children
The App allows parents to create profiles for family members, including children. By adding a child's profile, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and consent to their use of the App under your supervision. The parent PIN feature is provided to help manage family settings.
Friend Connections
The App allows families to connect with other families using invite codes. By sharing an invite code, you consent to sharing limited prayer tracking statistics (prayer counts, XP, ranks) with connected families. You can disconnect from friends at any time.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Salah Stars and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Salah Stars shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
